Devouring Famine is a one-man project from the US—California, to be exact. Although there are several social media profiles, not much information is available online. Thankfully, the music speaks for itself.
This is well-produced black metal, straight from the abyss. I’ve listened to Devouring Famine’s latest release, Imploding into the Black Hole, several times now—and it never gets boring. The album offers a refreshing break from the raw, sizzling sound typically associated with solo artists.
